• The Center for Research on Foundation Models (CRFM) is an interdisciplinary initiative at the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI). CRFM created HELM, an open-source framework for evaluating foundation models, which entered maintenance mode on June 1, 2026.567
• The Stanford NLP Group, whose members come from the Linguistics, Computer Science, and other departments, lists DSPy among the software it develops. The DSPy repository sits in the Stanford NLP GitHub organization, and its MIT license names Stanford Future Data Systems as the copyright holder.91011
• LMSYS, the nonprofit that hosts the SGLang project, states that it originated in 2023 from a multi-university collaboration that included Stanford.12

   Terminal-Bench 4.0 released as a new major version of the continuous benchmark

   The Terminal-Bench team published version 4.0 of its command-line agent benchmark on August 28, 2026, a month after announcing that it would be maintained as a continuous benchmark with semantic versioning. The release removed eight tasks, fixed nineteen, and set a flat eight-hour agent timeout for every task; it is a major version because these changes require re-running trials. It runs through the Harbor framework.
